CBS had previously used the temporary security barriers Surface Guard at large events. However, CBS wanted to have a corresponding permanent solution with the same level of security.
Damasec Physical Protection conducted a site-specific vehicle analysis to assess the threat from hostile vehicles – a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) assessment.
CBS opted for a solution with SP100 bollards, where four permanently installed bollards are combined with a removable installation (also four bollards). As seen in the middle photo, the installation for the removable bollards can be observed, which are removed during regular days.
The security bollards now stand firmly in place at Frederiksberg, ensuring security while allowing easy passage for all.
The level of security is now the same as with the temporary barriers used at larger events as before.
